How PhoneAgent.ai, the AI receptionist that answers business calls 24/7 and books appointments, collects, uses and protects your information on this website. Last updated: June 2026.

The short version

This website is a marketing and signup site. We do not connect to your calendar or phone number, and we do not answer, record or process your calls or caller data through it. We collect only the contact details you choose to submit, such as your work email, plus basic analytics and log data, so we can set up your account and talk with you about getting started. We never sell your data.

What this policy covers

This policy explains what we collect when you visit phoneagent.ai, sign up, or otherwise contact us about the AI receptionist that answers your business phone, discloses it is an AI, books appointments and routes callers. It covers this website only. The handling of calls, recordings, transcripts, caller records and consent data within any connected, production use of PhoneAgent.ai is governed separately by the agreement and onboarding documentation established with each customer.

No call data connected on this website

We want to be explicit. This website does not connect to your calendar or phone number and does not collect, receive, store or process your caller records, call recordings or consent data. Please do not send caller lists or other sensitive records to us through the contact form, by email, or by any other channel on this site. The interactive front-desk walkthrough shown on the site runs entirely in your browser on placeholder content. It does not call anyone, nothing is uploaded, and no call data leaves your device.

Information we collect

  • Information you submit. The email address you provide when you sign up, and any optional details you choose to share, such as your name, business, calendar or booking system and approximate call volume. We use a short verification code to confirm your email.
  • Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we keep your name, email and message so we can respond.
  • Analytics data. Aggregate usage information about how the site is used, so we can understand which pages and channels are helpful and improve the experience.
  • Technical and log data. Standard information such as IP address, browser type, and the page or campaign you arrived from, used for security, fraud prevention and understanding traffic sources.

How we use your information

  • To set up your account and to follow up about getting started.
  • To verify your email address and respond to your questions.
  • To send you relevant product updates about PhoneAgent.ai, where you have asked to hear from us.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • To protect the site from abuse, fraud and security threats.

How we think about security and compliance

PhoneAgent.ai is built for businesses that want their phone answered the right way, so security and consent are first-class concerns from day one. We design to minimize the data we collect, limit access to it, and keep any connected call workflows separate from this public website. We use strong encryption in transit and at rest and least-privilege access. For connected, production use, call recordings, transcripts and consent data are handled under the agreement and onboarding documentation established with each customer. Recording is optional and consent-aware, with the right prompt in two-party-consent states, and follow-up texts are TCPA-aware with opt-outs honored. You remain responsible for your own callers and consent practices. We do not claim any certification or status we do not hold.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate this site, such as our email delivery and analytics providers, and only to the extent they need it to perform their function. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and our users.

Data retention

We keep the contact details you submit for as long as needed to set up your account and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting and security obligations. You can ask us to delete the information you have submitted at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information in transit and at rest, and we limit who can access it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to collect as little of it as possible in the first place.

Your choices and rights

You can access, correct or delete the information you have submitted, and you can opt out of non-essential email at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data. To exercise any of these, email us and we will help.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product and site evolve. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
