Dialzara pricing and what the minute meter really costs at 60, 120 and 300 calls a month
Dialzara charges $29, $99, $199 or $349 a month for 60, 220, 500 or 1,000 minutes of talk time, then 48, 45, 40 or 35 cents a minute. At 120 calls of three minutes the real bill is about $162, and only the $99 plan and above has calendar sync for booking. Here is the cost table at four volumes and the point where a flat plan wins.

Dialzara pricing is $29, $99, $199 or $349 a month for 60, 220, 500 or 1,000 minutes of talk time, then 48, 45, 40 or 35 cents for every minute after that. A managed "Done for You" plan starts at $1,500 a month. For a business taking 120 calls of three minutes each, the real bill is about $162. Checked on Dialzara's own pricing page in October 2026.
The headline $29 is real, but it is a price for 60 minutes, which is about 20 calls. Most businesses that look at an AI receptionist take more calls than that, so the number that matters is what you pay once the included minutes run out, and which plan you actually need for the features you are buying it for.
How much does Dialzara cost?
This is the inbound rate card from Dialzara's pricing page. All plans are month to month, there is no setup fee, and Dialzara offers a 7 day free trial.
| Plan | Monthly | Minutes included | Over that | Warm transfer | Calendar sync |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Business Lite | $29 | 60 | $0.48 a minute | No | No |
| Business Pro | $99 | 220 | $0.45 a minute | Yes | Yes |
| Business Plus | $199 | 500 | $0.40 a minute | Yes | Yes |
| Business Elite | $349 | 1,000 | $0.35 a minute | Yes | Yes |
| Done for You | $1,500 and up | Quoted | Quoted | Yes | Yes |
Two details change the picture. First, the cheapest plan has no calendar sync, so Lite can take messages and blind transfer calls but it is not the plan that books an appointment. If booking is why you want an AI receptionist, your real entry price is the $99 Pro plan. Second, outbound calling, text messaging and the website chatbot are priced separately: an AI text agent is $19 a month plus 5 cents per AI message, and outbound voice plans start at $750 a month.
What does Dialzara really cost per call?
Dialzara bills by talk time, so the cost depends on how long your calls run. Here is the cheapest plan that covers each volume at a three minute average call.
| Calls a month | Minutes | Cheapest Dialzara plan | Monthly cost | Per call |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 60 | 180 | Lite, 120 extra minutes | $86.60 | $1.44 |
| 120 | 360 | Pro, 140 extra minutes | $162.00 | $1.35 |
| 300 | 900 | Elite, within the 1,000 | $349.00 | $1.16 |
| 500 | 1,500 | Elite, 500 extra minutes | $524.00 | $1.05 |
At 60 calls the Lite plan wins on price, but without calendar sync. At 120 calls, if you want booking, Pro is the plan and the bill is $162 rather than the $29 on the front of the page. Longer calls push every row up: a five minute average turns the 120 call month into 600 minutes, which is the Plus plan at $199.
Is the included-minutes bundle a discount?
Not really. Divide each plan's price by its included minutes and you get 48 cents for Lite, 45 cents for Pro, 40 cents for Plus and 35 cents for Elite. Those are almost exactly the overage rates. The bundle is a prepayment at the same rate you would pay anyway, so there is no volume discount hiding in the jump from one plan to the next. That makes the plan choice simple: pick the one whose included minutes you will actually use, and pay for features rather than for a "better deal."
Where Dialzara beats a flat plan, and where it does not
Dialzara is cheaper than a flat fee at low volume. A business taking around 20 to 60 short calls a month will pay under $90 on Lite and may never see the lack of calendar sync. It is also a fair choice if you want to build the agent yourself: the prompt is self-editable, Zapier and Make connect it to your tools, and the Elite plan adds multi-location setups and API access.
PhoneAgent.ai is a flat $89, $199 or $399 a month with appointment booking on every plan and no minute meter. Against Dialzara with booking turned on:
| Calls a month (3 minutes each) | Dialzara | PhoneAgent.ai |
|---|---|---|
| 60 | $99 (Pro, booking) | $89 |
| 120 | $162 | $89 |
| 300 | $349 | $199 |
| 500 | $524 | $199 |
The flat plan passes Dialzara's Lite price at about 185 minutes a month, roughly 60 calls of three minutes, and passes Pro at 220 minutes. Below that Dialzara is the cheaper tool and you should say so to yourself plainly. Above it the gap widens with every call, and a busy season no longer raises the invoice. PhoneAgent.ai's Starter plan covers about 150 calls and Professional about 500; you can see the full side by side on the Dialzara alternative page.
What to check before you pick a plan
Count minutes, not calls: pull a month of call logs and add up talk time, because a business that books appointments often runs four to six minutes per call. Decide whether you need booking, since that moves you off Lite. Ask whether you need warm transfer to a person, which also starts at Pro. And if you plan to text callers after a missed call, add the SMS agent's per message fee to your estimate.
If a missed call is also a sign that your website is not doing its job, a site that lets customers book on their own cuts the phone volume you pay for; an AI website builder can put that page together in an afternoon.
To compare more services at the same call volumes, the best AI receptionist roundup and the AI receptionist pricing guide price the whole category from each provider's own rate card.
